Finally! You’ve made your decision about which college you’ll be attending in the fall. It’s so exciting! You are relieved and overjoyed. What should your next steps be? Celebrate You deserve to #treatyoself. Go out to dinner with your friends and/or family. Have some sweet treats and junk food. Watch movies. You worked hard and you need a reward! Buy a new wardrobe Will you be attending school in a place where it snows heavily, such as the northeast? Make sure you have a warm jacket, lots of sweaters and good boots. Will you be moving somewhere sunny and hot, like southern California? Stock up on swimsuits, t-shirts and shorts. Make connections with upperclassmen Do you know anyone who already attends your future college? Get in touch with them! You can ask any questions you might have about life on campus. Plus you’ll already know someone when you start school. Be social online Most schools have Facebook pages for each class. This is a great place to meet potential friends and roommates. Don’t be shy! Everyone is nervous, just like you. Follow your school Follow your school on Instagram, Twitter or any other social media accounts you might have. It’s a super fun way to get to know your school better and to get excited for the upcoming year.
